  Islamic Clothing of Qatar

The popular men wear of Qatar is called thobe, which is a long white shirt over loose pants. With this, they wear a loose headdress called gutra held with a black rope called agal. Qatari women cover their body with a long black dress called abayah. Women usually wear a scarf called shayla to cover their head

The official language of my country is Arabic, but we can speak other languages as Persian and English. The most important for my is Arabic, because it is associated with the islamic faith.

In qatra also of girls work , now  is quite normal for women to work in Qatar, and increasing numbers of Qatari women are leaving the household to do so.
   However, you may be required to dress more modestly than you are used to, and I know of some women who even cover their hair, although in most cases long sleeves and dress or trousers are sufficient.

The standar workweek is 48 hours, but the  most government ofices set a 36 hour week.The boys of 15 years old, can work with parental permission, and some young non-Qataris work in family businesses. However, youths of any nationality do not frequently work in Qatar.


Trade unions are prohibited, Strikes are permitted only after the case has been presented to the Labor Department of the Ministry of Civil Service and an agreement cannot be reached.

Workers are prohibited from engaging in collective bargaining
